Working in a team, you’ll tackle a new challenge each week, combining your strengths and ideas to create the best solutions. The experience is designed to mirror real-world teamwork; dividing responsibilities, and learning how to communicate effectively under time pressure. While there is a competitive element to the race (with judges reviewing submissions and a top team crowned) the real win is in your learning and growth.
6 leadership challenges
Working in a team, you'll tackle 6 challenges across 6 weeks. Each challenge is unique and designed to strengthen critical thinking, leadership, collaboration and other key skills.
An opportunity to give back
Every race includes challenges that give back to real people or communities, so your work creates changes for others too.
Designed for busy people
Built to work around your schedule, you have one week to submit your answers with each challenge designed to only take 1-2 hours per person.

FAQ's
Ideally a team of 6–10 players – big enough for brilliant ideas and plenty of momentum, small enough that everyone gets involved. If you don’t have a team, that’s no problem at all. Join as an individual and we’ll match you with the perfect team.
A code will be sent to your email address after paying your entry fee. You will use the same code for each week of the race. Enter your code into the ‘Race Players Portal’ on our website each week to view your challenge.

There will be 2x one hour live learning and sharing lessons. (Check your time zone to choose the best option for you)
Our live sharing sessions are a great way to talk about what learning there has been and how to apply that within our day to day work. After all there’s no point in learning new skills if we don’t then apply those in our work.
Mid point check-in – 24th Feb two time options – 11am (CET) or 5pm (CET): This is an opportunity to reflect on your learning so far, and you will have a chance to see what everyone else has been submitting!
Final meeting – March 17th – two time options 11am (CET) or 5pm (CET): In this meeting, the winners will be announced and you will have an opportunity to reflect on what you have learnt!
Calendar invites and zoom links for all sessions will be sent out with your sign up confirmation email.
Each weekly challenge takes around 1-2 hours of each team member’s time. So if you have a team of six, that gives you more than six hours of input to complete each challenge together.
There’s no set time to take part, you choose a time that works best for your team, as long as your entry is submitted online within seven days.
Someone not available one week? No problem, you can just organise your team’s response around that.
To participate, we ask for a USD$60 (approx £45) donation per person*. This contribution goes directly toward supporting the individuals, families, and communities featured in the humanitarian challenges throughout the race.
Your participation helps transform a learning experience into practical support for people facing real challenges.
