Your first challenge will appear here in:
- 00Days
- 00Hours
- 00Minutes
If you haven’t already, please send us your team name and a list of your team members.
Already sent that over? Great! Here are some tips to help you prepare for your upcoming race!
Top tips:
A group chat can make communication easier between your team members, we recommend Whatsapp, Slack, Teams or Telegram.
Appointing a team leader can help to ensure weekly activities are effectively coordinated.
Each challenge is designed to take 60-90 minutes per team member so it is important to structure your time well. Below, you can find an example of how you could structure your weeks.
New challenge is released
Read through the new challenge yourself or with your team and begin brainstorming some ideas and questions to take to your team meeting. (10 mins)
Meet with your team
Organise a meeting with your team to discuss your ideas and allocate tasks. (30 mins)
Complete your tasks
After your team meeting, spend time working on your allocated task/s. During this time you may find it helps to talk through new ideas that come up with your team via your chosen messaging platform. (30-40 mins, depending on team size)
Submit your answers
Collect all completed tasks into one document. We recommend using a shared document such as google docs if you are a remote team. Then, one person from the group will email this document to: basecamp@theleadershiprace.com (10 mins)
Feel free to use this example structure as it is, adapt it to suit your team, or take your own approach. Whatever you choose, we’d still recommend including a short discussion with your team at the start of each challenge to agree who’s doing what.
If you fancy it...
Why not create a team logo or team branding of some kind or prepare a template form to send in your weekly answers on eg pre chosen font, a top box that will display the current challenge, a box to include your answers to the challenge and perhaps a final box that displays team member names.
